Moon of the Wolf (1972)

May 26, 2014  /  Ken Rupracht

Deadly secrets emerge from the shadows when the full moon rises!

  • Made for TV run time (70 minutes? Holy COW!)
  • Has that 70's sitcom show cheese
  • Plays out more like a murder mystery for the majority
  • Nostalgia (including very limited on-screen violence)

  • Werewolf is super-silly looking
  • Has that 70's sitcom show cheese
  • Still has the title cards for "put commercial here" in it (could be positive, cause it is funny)
  • Kind of a bit corny/lame by most of todays standards - generation gap
Opinion

As cheesy as it may be, I enjoyed it. It reminded me a bit of Kolchak, which is a show I loved, albeit replacing the main character with a sheriff instead. If your fans of the old sitcom styled movies, or the trailer looks at all entertaining you should have fun with it - just don't expect modern cinema violence and action every five minutes.
