Every Town Has Its Monsters

  • Well acted.
  • Didn't see that coming.
  • Well paced.
  • Decent effects work.

  • Some threads seem to just go nowhere.
Thoughts

Starring Christopher Lloyd, Laura Fraser, and Max Records, I Am Not a Serial Killer is a movie where the story that's being told on screen is what's meant to keep you watching. There isn't much in the line of flash and spectacle to keep you drawn in, so it won't be for everyone. The mystery element will be gone by the half-way point after the movie's big reveal, leaving you with nothing but the horror and plot to drive you on, but it's a pleasant enough ride that those who enjoy the drama and horror/thriller films should be quite happy with it. For best results, I'd recommend going in cold, as it leaves maximum effect for any reveals.
