When it comes to movies, we all have a drastic tendency of two things - forgetting (or not knowing) of past movies, and being super-hard on older movies effects work. In regards to that first one, the modern “For the first time ever” branch of things gets evoked quite a bit - “Black Panther, the first black superhero” and so forth.
